I relish the gift of finding a personal letter in my mailbox, especially on hard days. #PenToPaper: Note Starters for Every Day is chock-full of great ideas for sharing your heart through notes, letters, texts, or journaling. (These thoughts could also be used as conversation starters for small groups.) I appreciate these helps for days when my fibro-fog keeps my thoughts jumbled, and yet I still long to communicate with my dear ones.
#PenToPaper: Note Starters for Every Day is a guide to the lost art of letter and note writing. I have notes from my parents (and other people) that I keep and cherish not only for the messages but also because I treasure their handwriting (My father was an artist, so his handwriting is like having a recording of his voice.). People need to buy this book (It also makes a great gift!) and start writing to their loved ones… and anyone else. The ideas, writing prompts, and starters are so well done. What a thoughtful and beautiful book this is!
When you don’t know what to say, #PenToPaper: Note Starters for Every Day is a beautiful resource to help you write meaningful messages. I’ve started sending #PenToPaper notes as the Lord lays people on my heart. My goal is to send one note every morning, Monday through Friday. Thank you, Chronic Joy, for ALL your work that makes this ministry possible.
What a gem! I love this little book, which has many wonderful ideas for putting pen to paper. I have a couple of pen pals and write to my college-aged daughters weekly. I sometimes get stumped on what to write. So I’m not constantly writing the same thing, I will definitely seek inspiration from #PenToPaper: Note Starters for Every Day. I especially love the Gratitude chapter — it is so beautiful.
#PenToPaper: Note Starters for Every Day is an excellent resource for those times you desire to express heartfelt concern, personalized sympathy, or shared joy with someone, but you can’t find quite the right words. This book is filled with helpful, faith-filled note-starters that you can freely borrow—or that can inspire your original thoughts. Reading the book can also provide the impetus you need to write to someone just because, a prompt that can result in blessings for the recipient AND the sender (as it did for me).
