About Chronic Joy®
On January 1, 2016, God invited us to take a step of faith and begin a global resource ministry, though we had no idea how to do so or what its scope would be.
In April 2016, we officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (No small accomplishment!), but God was just getting started.
Today, Chronic Joy is a global resource ministry dedicated to compassionately serving those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability by providing accessible, easy-to-use, faith-based educational resources and publications.
Chronic Joy is led by God and His word. Think of the kindness you wish others would show you; do the same for them. (Luke 6:31, VOICE) propels us to develop tools and resources so those affected by illness and pain can discover radical hope, find Biblical purpose, embrace eternal worth, and encounter God’s exquisite joy.
Accessible Hope for Everyone!
Chronic illness, mental illness, and chronic pain impact every aspect of life: faith, family, finances, friendship, marriage, education, hobbies, and work.

Statement of Faith
We believe in salvation by grace, a free gift from God, given to all who believe in His Son Jesus Christ and accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Our Programs
We offer a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of all those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, chronic pain, and disability.

Annual Report
Chronic Joy's mission field is tremendous - more than half the world’s population - yet our ministry focus is always one precious life at a time.

Operational Plan
Chronic Joy is committed to four key programs rooted in hope, purpose, worth, and joy: prayer, awareness, connection, and education.

Pamela Piquette
Executive Director and Co-Founder of Chronic Joy®
Pamela, a leader and a visionary following God's call to inspire those affected by chronic illness, mental illness, and chronic pain, believes that every precious life impacted by illness is both vital and purposed.
Pamela is a wife of more than 35 years, the mom of three married children, and a grandma of six. She is diagnosed with chronic migraines and other chronic conditions. She enjoys baking sourdough bread and chocolate chip cookies, drinking hot tea, being outdoors, and reading (almost always more than one book at a time).

Cindee Snider Re
Author, Designer, and Co-Founder of Chronic Joy®
Cindee is married to the man she loves most in this world, mama to five adult kids, four of whom are married, and Lolli to an adorable grandson. Cindee and her five kids have Ehlers-Danlos, intractable migraines, and myriad co-existing conditions. While a life steeped in illness is not what she would have chosen, through it, she’s learning that the deeper the valley, the greater her capacity for joy.
Cindee is the author of Discovering Hope, Finding Purpose, Embracing Worth, and I Take You in Sickness and in Health.

❄️ What Snowflakes Can Teach Us about Serving
In God’s remarkable way, each tiny flake is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. … each one simply doing its job without concern about whether it is valuable enough, big enough, or useful enough. Snowflakes can teach us a lot about serving.
Celebrating Marriage Even in the Struggle
Maybe we need to celebrate that we’ve survived together for more than twenty years through some incredible circumstances… Illness will always be part of our story on this side of the veil, but we will continue to laugh together, walk together, and love one another until God calls us home.
Join Hands, Fill Up, Pour Out
Why do we generously give and serve with Chronic Joy? Because God called. And because the work He’s called us to do is so desperately needed.
